Convention!

Hello Everybody!

Well, I think it's about time I posted again. I've was so busy getting ready for Convention - what with swaps,  cardy candy, fancy folds etc, I didn't have time to post for ages!

Anyway! we all had an absolute ball! Here's a picture of some of The Paperdolls, the ones who did come to Convention, waiting for one of the sessions to start.

Here we have (from top left) Sharon, Hazel, June, Mari, Jan, Sara and me.  Hopefully next year there will be more Paperdolls joining us. Convention is in Manchester next year, so much easier (both travel wise and financial wise) to get to.

I know those of you who come onto my blog probably don't want to be bored with loads of photos of Germany, even though it's a place that I've grown to love through my career with Stampin' Up!

So without further ado, I'm just going to show you lovely crafty photos! I'll show you a few throughout the week, these first ones are scrapbook pages done by demos and the Home Office to showcase our products. I'm sorry, but I can't put names to them, but please do get in touch with me if your layout is featured so I can credit you.

First up is this lovely layout using my favourite DSP from the main catalogue - Storytime. I love the simplicity of it. All it uses is the paper, an In Colour Dahlia embellishment and the Sizzix Typeset Alphabet. I doesn't need anymore. It's gorgeous.

This layout is very clever - I love the super cute parasol made with paper from the International Bazaar collection.

Another layout using International Bazaar DSP - this time with the matching World Treasures stamp set and letters from the Letter It set. Super simple but all the better for it. Makes the photograph really pop.

Pennants and bunting are a huge trend at the minute and this layout uses the Affection Collection stamp set and For My Family set to make all the different flags.

Another layout using Affection Collection. This one is very romantic and is completely different to the more masculine layout above. Shows off the great versatility of this set.

This layout used the Daydream Jumbo Wheel across the centre and then accents using Comfort Cafe DSP. I love that DSP set, it's my favourite at the minute! The title is made using You're Amazing stamp set. I bought this set for my swaps and I love it - I'll post my swaps later.

Another layout using Take a Ticket small wheel and You're Amazing stamp set plus World Spectacular DSP.

And finally, a layout made using the Daydream Medallions set. This set was given to us for free and it is absolutely beautiful.

Hope you like the layouts. I'll post more crafty lusciousness later!

TFL! Joanne x
